October 2007 Things....

Catching up - Part 2

So where was I???? Probably around Summer 2007.

Some things that happened during this time was a World Wide Public Affairs Symposium in DC... picture from the night group and one of Sarah.... yipppeeaaa.... no she wasn't there for the symposium, but drove up so we could see each other.... so awesome!

Sometime after the Symposium, I got to fly down to Guantanamo Bay (GITMO) to visit Tim... so nice to see him and also have some "hubbie-wife" time. Was the last time i got to dive, so look forward to our next dive trip. GITMO was small and hot, but really not bad duty... I even volunteered to do a two year tour down there (but didn't get taken up on it)... maybe someday we'll go back again.....

Good times.....

So then Tim, came back to Florida at the end of the Summer. He had to stay at Jacksonville till October 2007. Alex and I flew down there sometime in July for a family vaca.....

In October, Tim finally came home and we all became reacquainted.

Catching up - The start to my Blog Saga!

So here I am... I'm officially a "blogger." Okay, not really, but at the request of friends, thought this might be a good way to keep friends updated on the life and travels of Monica, Tim, Alex and Baby... oh and of course the pets (Kaylo, Annabelle, Gabriel and Rebel)... think once this baby is born, we'll officially be a clan. Anywhoo... this first post will just be a "catch up" of sorts from when we moved here to TN. So, hold on.... here we go........

Tim was deployed to GITMO and I moved here to Memphis (actually Arlington). Mom and Dad kept Alex while I drove up here in the truck with the animals. They came up about 3 weeks later and stayed till October 2007, when Tim came home. Attaching some photos from Feb to October 2007.

First... leaving Florida... here's a picture of Alex and his girlfriend Nellie at the Florida house... long distance relationships are soooooo hard!

Quick trip to Spain to visit family and drop off Alex and off I went with the pets to Atlanta to visit Jason and Allene's new little bundle of joy, Benjamin.... sooo cute......

Got to the house here, checked in, got the house ready and here came Mom, Dad and Alex. Now, just some photos of all of us during that time.... good times, but missed my love....
